AWT Group achieves striking debut in ranking of most prominent firms in the Czech Republic

The AWT Group has made an impressive entrance into the Czech TOP 100 ranking just one year after the creation of the company. For the year 2010, the AWT Group ranked 61st among the most prominent businesses in the country. In the ranking by industry, it was the largest private transportation company in the Czech Republic (section Transportation, auxiliary services in transportation and travel agencies).

Another notable result was achieved by AWT Rekultivace, which was graded “Excellent” by the Czech TOP 100 Association in the ČEKIA Stability Award – receiving grade AAA. This independent review of financial and non-financial credibility thus places the company among the most stable in the Czech Republic.

The results of the 17th annual ranking of the most prominent companies in the Czech Republic were announced today by the CZECH TOP 100 Association, which has been assembling rankings and ratings of Czech businesses since 1994. The rankings are based on revenues, while the ancillary rankings also reflect profit, productivity, added value and other parameters.

“Our revenues reached nearly ten billion Czech koruna last year. This confirmation of our status as the largest private transportation company in the Czech Republic is a good business card for us, as is our presence in the ranking of the most prominent businesses in the country. However, these results are at the same time a challenge for us to move up the rankings in the years to come.
